Well Im not really sure where to start, we’ve had christmas which went off pretty uneventful which makes a nice change.We went to a nickelback concert on the 17th Jan which was amazing and valentines day is on the way this weekend.
We dont celebrate things like that though, valentines is a bit commercial if you ask me, for new couples and the young lol…or maybe Im just getting old and a bit miserable, there just seems more important things to be doing, I don’t know like getting 5 mins to myself, which is very rare these days.
Happy birthday to Mum Mary today, sorry by the way, we’ll try better not to give you a cold next year we promise X.
Weve all been suffering from a horrible cold for the last week Its grim, aches, pains, headaches and it went on our chests within 24 hours which just wont go away, even my teeth hurt, but Im in work today which Im looking forward to and Stevens got Andrew for the afternoon.
Im still loving my job, Im sure this weekend will be a bit mad, all the loved up people coming in for overpriced flowers, £60 for a dozen red roses, I’d rather have the money thanks, Im an old romantic arn’t I 
Next week Andrew has his annual visit with the health visitor, oh yea they dont visit after your child turns one though, surely that just a health worker then.
Then later that day its down to the doctors for his swine flu jab, Im sure that won’t make me flavour of the month, but its got to be done though. I had mine over a month ago because of my asthma, It didn’t stop me gasping for breath at night through this cold though. Maybe it did help, Im still here I guess.
Well Im not sure theres anything else to report, Ill sign off for now and I had better finish getting ready for work, bring on the thermals and extra layers.
