Week 24 update
Well alls going good so far, we went to see the midwife the other day and heard the baby’s heart beating for the first time, absolutely amazing!! really fast but were assured that it slows down the older the baby gets and within the last couple of weeks i’ve been feeling loadsa kicking, sometimes just little taps and mini sumersaults but other times its like little electric shocks… i think my bladder is now a trampoline. Its really nice being able to feel movement now, kind of comforting feeling that things are all ok.
There are some bad bits to this pregnancy though, the nightmares ive been getting are shocking at times, like you know when you wake up crying or shouting, well all that plus a crazy hormone thing, usually you wake up and realise it was all a dream and eveythings ok, well about 10 minutes later im blubbing like a uncontrollable nut case.
Also i reckon my memory has gone for a long walk, i can’t seem to remember things when i need to or get my words out and this is like a regular thing, like writing this ive got a dictionary out to spell check myself and im sure i sound like im talking utter rubbish at times but hey ho never mind.
Stevens been brilliant, hes not called me crazy once and keeps telling me i look sexy, bless him… i feel like a cross between a beached whale and Ripley from alien… also hes always making sure im ok and not letting me lift or stretch, ive got a feeling he’s gonna be a great daddy. Rolll on April 
Don’t know if weve said yet but the baby is due Friday 13th April, is it an omen?
I think weve finally agreed on a name too but were gonna keep it secret ’til bumps born, its taken ages to find one that we both like, thing is i like traditional and Steven likes quirky i like ‘Eleanor’ and ‘George’ but he loves ‘Daffodil’ and ‘Scooter’ i mean please, if you wanna call your child either of those grow you own utereus.
Anyway a ‘Very Merry Christmas’ to eveyone and i hope you all get terrible hang-overs as i cant drink, its all wrong i tell you, christmas without baileys, whats a girl to do… bring on the milk tray thats what i say
Have a top one anyway and if we don’t see you before we’ll see you in 2007
