…well i thought it was about time i did an update again so here it is.
Andrews walking and running now…running circles round us that is.
He currently in another one of his ‘i cant bear to be seperated from mummy’ phases which is sweet if not completely tiring. Hes presently taking his nap so i get a couple of hours of to catch up on stuff, which believe me I need, hes like a little whirlwind, destruction where ever he goes, toys, food, juice, basically anything he can get his hands on, i think he gets that from his daddy im not taking responsibility for that but what i do take responsibility for is half of his small OCD problem, the half he gets from Steven is that he has the need to have clean hands which is quite difficult for a child that can’t use cutlery yet, me on the other hand has given him a tidy gene, he can’t have a bean fall off his plate without having to return it to its rightful place and he lines things up like the cars on his garage, cute but kinda spooky at the same time 
anyway Andrews just woken up so its time i should be off so take care all we’ll try n get back as often as we can for updates on our world.

We went to the trafford centre today and outside WHSmith, as usual, there was the guy that does characatures of folk… this is Andrew, what do you think? I’d say the poor childs got my ears
Anyway we’ve not been up to much, thats why theres not been any updates recently, but next week its Andrews first birthday and whoa how quickly does time fly, I can’t believe its been 12 months.
We got Andrew weighed yesterday, the last time naked too cos’ under one they’ve gotta be stripped for an acurate measurement, hes now 24lbs 8 ozs…thats 17lbs 3ozs in a year, thats nothing… i put on over twice that when i was carrying him
Well thats it, ive not got anything else to say but hey our sons one whoa !

On Thursday we decided to let Megan go to a new home, she’s been troubled for a while because she has a lot of energy and we’ve not been able to give her the time she needs since Andrew came along and she was beginning to rebel a little!
She needed someone with more time for her quirky little ways and we had been agonizing over how and what we could do for her for some time, then a couple of weeks ago she grumped at Andrew and that kind of sealed it for us. So when i took her in for her booster i asked at the vets if they had any suggestions where we could find a good loving home for her and they gave me a number for Scottish terrier emergency care scheme (STECS).
We called here and the lady seemed genuine and caring and and took her in, promising that she had people on her books that knew what they were letting themselves in for with a slightly troubled Scottie. She even said we could call her anytime to see how Megs is doing, which we’ve done once but i might need to ring her a few more times just to be sure she’s ok.
So it’s so long the Moog! Doog has been missing her and we have been making sure that he gets lots more love so he’s happy as he can be and he seems to be coming round.
Now I’m the only bird in a house full of men… Steven’s even said we can go n get a girly fish to make up the numbers but i think i’ll be ok for the time being
Well thats all for now, we’ll try and get back soon with some more stuff, hopefully happier news.

Andrew has found his feet well his knees anyway, as of Thursday he has been able to crawl forwards, now i say forwards as for the last couple of weeks he’s been going backwards, which is kinda funny watching him going round in circles backwards, funny for us but frustrating for him as he was backing himself into a corner and not being able to figure out how to get out of it, poor thing.
At last he’s got it though and keeping up with him now is a skill, if he’s not heading for the flashing lights of the broadband, he’s going for the record of getting to the sharpest corner in the room in the fastest time.
Also he’s now clapping and turning over on his own, very sweet and probably not very interesting for all you guys out there but hey, were proud parents and we like to brag about even the simplest things our little sweetheart can do
Next we’ve got to teach him to eat and drink without the help of one of us, we’ll keep you posted.

Well yup, its been a while since we last posted because Andrews being particularly needy.
If we leave him for a mo’ to say, make a brew, he gives out an almighty scream and it ends up in tears, perfectly normal for his age apparently, something to do with him thinking that were going to go and not come back, separation anxiety or feeling like he’s being abandoned, poor little thing, like we would ever do that.
